Full Season Lawn Program
Our full season program is a combination of 5 separate lawn visits, at 5-8 week intervals, throughout the season. Our program kicks off in March with the spring application, and continues through September/October with a final fall application. Our professionally licensed technicians appreciate the importance of a healthier, greener, more weed-free lawn; and, our extra attention to detail is invaluable as we continue to experience conditions of drought and record high temperatures in our region.
1. Early Spring Application: March-April (weather dependent to start): Full lawn, liquid application ONLY - Combines pre-emergent, broadleaf weedkill (if needed), nitrogen stabilizer and Urea fertilizer to provide a jump-start to waking your lawn each spring. Pre-emergent is a key ingredient to crabgrass and spurge control throughout the summer months.
2. Late Spring Application: Five-Six weeks from initial visit: Full lawn, liquid application ONLY - Combines a quick acting, broadleaf weedkill, humates, nitrogen stabilizer, and Urea fertilizer. (Grub suppression too if you have purchased the applicable program). We heavily target the broadleaf weeds that may appear with rising temperatures.
3. Early Summer Application: Seven-Eight weeks from previous service: Full lawn, liquid broadleaf weedkill with humates. AND, a slow-release granular fertilizer to maintain color and provide nutrient for root development throughout the summer months (will not burn!).
4. Late Summer Application: Seven-Eight weeks from previous service: Full lawn, liquid application ONLY - Combines a summer broadleaf weedkill, humates, soil treatment (water retention agent, wetting agent with iron). Every ingredient is specifically heat tolerant, while providing much needed elements to protect the root system and assist with color maintenance.
5. Fall Application: Seven-Eight weeks from previous service: Full lawn, liquid broadleaf weedkill (as needed). AND, a slow-release granular fertilizer. This fertilizer will assist with root development and recovery from summer stress. As well, a broadleaf weedkill to finish off any existing weeds for the season.
Fungus (NRS) Lawn Program
1. Early Spring Application: March-April (weather dependent to start): Full lawn, liquid application ONLY - Combines pre-emergent, broadleaf weedkill (if needed) with Urea fertilizer to provide a jump-start to waking your lawn each spring. Pre-emergent is a key ingredient to crabgrass and spurge control throughout the summer months.
2. Late Spring Application: Five-Six weeks from initial visit: Full lawn, liquid broadleaf weedkill with humates and fungicide (Grub suppression too if you have purchased the applicable program). 3. Early Summer Application: Seven-Eight weeks from previous service: Full lawn, liquid broadleaf weedkill with humates and fungicide. AND,a granular 16-16-16 slow-release fertilizer with iron. Back-to-back fungicide applications typically yield better control throughout the season.

Exterior Spider Barrier Spray
The spider barrier spray can be applied throughout the year and is applied directly to the exterior foundation of a house, around lower windows and in window wells. We will also spray the interior of an attached garage, if requested. A single treatment lasts up to 45 days, and can be applied as needed during any season (March-October). These treatments prevent spiders and insects from crossing the barrier into your home. Our regular program includes four seasonal treatments: early spring, early summer, late summer, and late fall. Sign-up by March 31st each year for 10% off the program.
Outbreak Preventions
Currently there are no products on the market that can guarantee your lawn or trees will be 100% insect free. However, Frodsham's does offer treatements that will stifle aphids, grubs and other lawn insects prior to breakout (if applied during the appropriate time of year). Contact us for more details on how to prevent certain outbreaks.
